Michele is a lifelong resident and dedicated public servant of Kentucky. She received her bachelor’s degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She went on to graduate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where she received her law degree. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky; Tennessee; the United States Supreme Court; and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

Michele has a long history of volunteering and philanthropy, helping both the McCreary County community to four-legged friends around the world. She is an active volunteer and consultant to the McCreary County Heritage Foundation, LLC; a member of the Friends of the Stearns Golf Course, LLC; an annual supporter of the Blazin’ Bluegrass Festival; a volunteer and contributor to the Wild Tomorrow Fund, which strives to “save wild spaces, helping communities, and saving wildlife”; and regular contributor to YWAM Kona ministries where “YWAM Kona trains young people to know God so they can transform the world.” She also takes a passionate interest in Veterans and their rights.
